What time is check-in and check-out?
You can come to check in, leave your luggage, use
the common facilities, get the keys, arrange payment from /
after 9 am in the morning, you will get your room as soon it
is ready, which is usually by 12 midday or earlier / later
depending on how many arrival we have that day.
Check out time is 10 am after your last night stay.
(Late check out possible on request base in advance only).

Do you provide a map of Budapest?
Yes! We provide guests with a free customized map
of Budapest full of great helpful information and recommendations
of our favourite places to eat, shop, sightsee, and more.

What is included in the price?
Taxes, bed linens, towels(on request base only!)
and all the free services as Internet, wifi, maps,
luggage storage (in common space only)

What methods of payment does Beds N Roses accept and when
shall I pay?
You may pay cash Euro or Hungarian Forints at our
daily selling exchange rates. You may do better business if you
pay in the currency (HUF or EUR possible only) you have been
confirmed with.
You can pay ONLY CASH and AT your ARRIVAL (check
in)! We do not have credit card debiting facilities and we
insist on payment at arrival as we do not have permanent reception
at place! (sorry for that inconvenience, but we try to save
money to give them further to you when having a cheaper room).

Are all the rooms with private bathroom?
Yes all our rooms have private bathroom inside the room
.

Does Beds N Roses offer breakfast?
No, but we will offer to you a place at the basement
of our house (Chagall Cafe) where you can have good, inexpensive breakfast
(Discounts for Beds N Roses guests: tell them you are staying
at us!)

How safe and secure is Beds N Roses?
We have several private rooms, you will have private
key for the house gate, entrance door, your room. The house
is secure (with gate-ring entering system).

If we are traveling as a small group, can we stay together
in the same room or 2-3 rooms one by the other?
If you wish to stay together with friends, then
it is best to book private room(s) at one time and inform us
that you are coming together. We will do our best for you to
be close one by the other, but in case of small availability,
we can not promise it. Anyway, most of the rooms are very close
to each other¸ this can not be a problem.

Is there a place to eat, cook, have drinks in Beds N Roses?
We have well-equipped
cooking-ready kitchen with big refrigerator,
hotplate for cooking.

Can in Beds N Roses fax my reservation confirmation to
the Embassy so that I can apply for a visa?
Yes. If you will require a letter of confirmation
of your reservation with company stamp and signature in order
to apply for a visa, please allow up to 3 days time for us
to prepare this document. This is a free service, however we
do require a full non-refundable bank transfer prepayment by a
certain deadline but before reservation confirmation
sent to you!

14) Do you accept groups?
We welcome only small, upto 8-9
persons groups who can and promise to behave
well in the hostel and close surrounding.
If you have bigger group, please contact us.

How close is Beds N Roses to Budapest's main attractions?
Where we are: - at 3 min. walk from the Operahouse, - at 7 min. from the Basilica, - at 10 min. walk from the Parlament, - at 10 min. walk from Váci str. and Danube bend, - at 7 min. walk from Deák tér (where the 3 metros meet), - at 6 min. walk from Oktogon and Liszt Ferenc squares, - at 10 min. walk from Nyugati(west railway station).

Where is the closest parking garage to Beds N Roses?
Parking possibility near the hostel (guarded parking righthand in the beginning of Zichy Jenő str. 9, at 40m after entering it from Bajcsi Zsilinsky str. at 50m from the hostel, check at www.ezpark.hu, ask for 24h pass: now (2009 Okt. update): 4,200HUF/24h ); Other parking possibility: Starpark guarded parking at Dessewffy utca 36: turn in in Dessewffy str. from Teréz ave., cca 150m rightside (www.starpark.hu ): 3.000HUF/24h pass (ask for Beds N Roses card at our reseption!(otherwise you will pay 4.000HUF/24h pass) or on the street: free at the weekends ONLY(from Friday late evening to early Monday morning only, at weekdays you can stay only 2 hours and have to pay at the cash machine for that!). You can also find a cheap guarded paid parking in Akacfa str. 60 (address: 1073 Akacfa u. 60, website: www.a60.hu, e-mail: akacfa60@gpm.hu, phone: +36-70-3830-830, with 2009 Oct. update: 1,900HUF/24h only). For all parkings: ask for 24h pass (othewise you will pay much higher hour rates!)! The parking places do NOT belong to our hostel, they are independant from us enterprizes and we can not take any responsibility for availbitily and change of prices accordingly!

Yes. You can make e-mail reservation as well. For

Is there Internet access at Beds N Roses?
Yes. We have free wifi and you can use our computer
free of charge (for Internet and e-mail). We would like you
to reconsider that other people may also want to use the computer,
in that case I would kindly ask you to give them way after
max. 30 min. of using (you can come back later when nobody
is in the line).

Is Beds N Roses non-smoking?
Yes. All of Beds N Roses facilities: rooms,
bathrooms are non-smoking. Smoking in place is strictly prohibited.
You can smoke at the entrance door outside.

Does Beds N Roses provide towels?
We can provide small size towels only on request
base at your arrival: so please ask for towel at arrival but not later.The towels are free of charge for use
only, but be sure to leave then in place at check out (so they
are not free for taking them away)

Can I wash my clothes at the hostel?
Yes, we have a washing machine for your use, free
of charge. Please read instructions before use!

Does Beds N Roses offer an international phone for guests
to use?
As we do not keep reception, there is no local
phone at place. You can reach or be reachable though on the
internet using skype, msn. Please advise your relatives, friends
to try to reach you directly, our phone for bookings is not
at place and we do not offer message forwarding services.

I have heard that you do not keep all day reception. Will somebody
be waiting for me at my arrival?
We really do not keep reception at place,
that is why you shall give us your expected arrival time, advise
us if it changes. It is very useful if you give us your live
mobile phone (with inter. codes please!) we can contact you on. We kindly ask you to inform us if early or expectedly
late by more than 1 hour to your latest advised arrival time,
please call / or sms us* (Phone: +36-20-332-6322), but do not
worry, the room is yours no matter how late are you. *Please
sms by day only (9-17h), otherwise call!

What happens if I book and can not arrive at all? How can I
cancel a booking, what are the conditions?
We will kindly ask you to book us only in case
your arrival seems to be absolutely sure (you have the airplane,
train, bus tickets, your car is in order, you got your leave
from work, spoke over your holiday with your friends coming
along with you…). Anyway if any kind of changes to your
booking after done (modification, canceling, another room needed,
plus / less persons coming): the most important: please advise
us by e-mail about that (in case we do not reply in 48h at
the latest, please call, we have not received your mail then
(it happens very rarely, but it is possible at all).

Are there any discounts (i.e. long stay) for staying at Beds N Roses?
We offer long stay, weekday stay, group, in-advance-booking discounts,
check them at
prices menu.
If you feel you are entitled for discount, please write us
an e-mail with your inquiry requesting the discount.
We have already discounted prices at the online portals and at out booking engine.You can
not ask for more discounts after booking made there.
